Shannon joined Mitch Cox Companies in January of 2014 as Broker for Mitch Cox Realtor, Inc. During those years, Shannon has leased or sold over 1,300,000 square feet of space. About half of those deals transpired in Downtown Johnson City and 75% of those were leases.

Previously, she gained over 12 years of award-winning sales experience in pharmaceutical sales and jumped into commercial real estate following her position as Director of Redevelopment for Washington County Economic Development Council. In that role, she recruited new businesses, worked closely with City of Johnson City officials, developed relationships with downtown business owners and worked on tax increment financing for downtown Johnson City.

Her experience in sales, customer service, and her time spent in public service in economic development make her skills uniquely valuable for commercial real estate.

Shannon is active in the community as a member of Redeemer Community Church, Past board Member of for the United Way of Washington County, TN, and past member of the Blue Plum Organization. Currently she serves as Vice-Chair for the Johnson City Development Authority, and board member for the Convention and Visitors' Bureau for Johnson City, TN. She was also recognized as a 40 Under Forty recipient by The Business Journal of Tri-Cities, Tennessee/ Virginia.

Shannon is a native of Ohio and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Milligan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Communications. She has lived in Johnson City for nearly 30 years with her husband and their two daughters.
