Johnson City, TENN. – NN, Inc., a NYSE-listed industrial components manufacturer, is moving its corporate headquarters into the SunTrust Bank Building which it acquired July 1, 2014. Mitch Cox Realtor, a Johnson City full-service commercial real estate company, represented NN, Inc. in the search for and purchase of its new headquarters located at 207 Mockingbird Lane in Johnson City.
Rich Holder, CEO of NN, Inc., said in a press conference today, “With over 2000 employees globally and a strategic plan to be making 800 million dollars in annual revenue by 2018, we looked at expanding into other metros to build our new corporate headquarters, but in the end we desired to stay local.” He continued, “Johnson City is where our roots are and because our employees are our most valuable asset, we wanted to offer them the highest quality of life.”
In October of 2013, the NN, Inc. leaders sat down with John Speropulos and Marc Murphy of Mitch Cox Realtor to discuss Mr. Rich Holder’s vision for a corporate headquarters. Mitch Cox Realtor began the search and represented NN, Inc. exclusively throughout the procurement process of the 61,264 square foot SunTrust Bank Building.
Speropulos said, “It has been a privilege to represent NN, Inc. We believe it will serve as a great facility for their headquarters and future expansion in Johnson City.”
Will Kelly, vice president and Chief Administrative Officer for NN, Inc., worked with the Mitch Cox Realtor team in orchestrating the acquisition. He said, “Our long-term relationship with John and the Mitch Cox Realtor team and their reputation in the community made our decision fairly simple. Their knowledge and expertise were very instrumental in this process, which made it easy for us. They did a great job.”
Mitch Cox Realtor is also supplying the full suite of property management services for the new NN, Inc. headquarters building.
Company officials stated when NN, Inc. moves into the building in early 2015, the available space of the six floors of office space will be mostly occupied with enough room to grow for the 150 to 200 new jobs the company expects to create, each paying more than $75,000 per year.
