JMC Management Company, the residential property management division of Mitch Cox Companies, celebrated Community Association Manager Karen Ricker and her achievement of earning a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation through the Community Association Institute (CAI).
“Karen’s expanded knowledge and management experience greatly benefit the communities she manages,” said Sharyon McKinney, Senior Property Manager at JMC. “She is a true management professional and a pleasure to work with. I look forward to her future career growth with JMC Management Company.”
Karen is responsible for over a third of the 18 communities representing 885 homeowners in the company’s portfolio. She assists the communities board of directors in budget planning, long-term reserve evaluations, financial reporting, and maintenance coordination.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Karen earned her business degree from Milligan College in Johnson City and joined Mitch Cox Companies in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant and Assistant Community Association Manager. Within a year, she was promoted to a full-time Assistant Community Association Manager.
“Her CMCA designation is well-earned and well-deserved for the high level of commitment and professionalism she displays on a daily basis,” said McKinney.
On behalf of all the team members of Mitch Cox Companies, we recognize and congratulate Karen on her achievement and wish her continued success in her career.
