Johnson City, TENN. – Johnson City will be welcoming the first of up to eight East Coast Wings & Grill restaurants headed to the Tri-Cities region of Tennessee within the next several years. This marks the introduction of the brand into the state of Tennessee.
In October of 2013, Mitch Cox Realtor, Inc. executed a lease with Kingsley Investment Group, LLC for the 5,000 square foot space in the Johnson City Marketplace retail center, anchored by Lowe’s and Kohl’s. The site was formerly a CiCi’s Pizza location which closed in April of 2013. East Coast Wings & Grill will be moving into 198 Marketplace Blvd., Suite B130, Johnson City, TN 37604 and opening their doors for business in the middle of first quarter 2014. A formal ribbon-cutting will take place on their official first day.
Formed in February 2013, Kingsley Investment Group, LLC is a local restaurant management company with a 30-year-experienced director of operations, that has chosen the East Coast Wings & Grill franchise to be their flagship investment vehicle. Mitch Cox Realtor, Inc is the brokering agent tasked with targeting sites in the market for them beginning in March of 2013. Michael Brady Architects and KaTom Restaurant Supply are strategic partners with Kingsley Investment Group.
The second East Coast Wings & Grill location will open in Kingsport about a month after the first location opens in Johnson City. According to projections, an additional location will open each subsequent quarter of next year across the East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia region, including Elizabethton, Greeneville, Bristol, Abingdon, and Marion.

Based out of Winston-Salem, NC, East Coast Wings & Grill was founded in 1995. The brand sets out to create a casual, full-service dining experience that focuses on delicious food; bar service exists only to complement the dining experience. There are currently 28 locations in the USA.
