Ryan Parks

As the Field Service Manager for Cox Property Management, Ryan Parks oversees all service and maintenance needs at the properties in our commercial property portfolio. With nearly two decades of field experience and technical education, Ryan is an expert problem-solver. He builds strong relationships with his customers, vendors and service technicians.

Ryan is a native to the Tri-Cities region, raised in Bristol, TN. As a young teenager who had an affinity for fixing things, Ryan began working as an understudy for a local electrical contractor after school let out. He continued his education in the electrical industry in high school and participated in state electrical wiring competitions. Ryan then went on to Northeast State Community College to obtain technical certifications in both HVAC and electrical technology.

After college, Ryan began his career as an electrical and HVAC technician for a local service contractor, where he quickly excelled into a leadership role. He then moved into a career servicing electronics in the production print industry, where he also worked his way through the ranks into a regional specialist and team leader position. Ryan joined the Cox Property Management team in 2021 as the Field Supervisor, and was promoted to Field Service Manager in the fall of 2022. Throughout his career, Ryan has gained a magnitude of experience servicing various types of mechanical equipment and electronics in both residential and commercial settings.

Ryan’s technical certifications and licenses include: Tennessee LLE Electrical License, EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification, North American Technical Excellence (NATE) Certification, Construction Core Certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety and Health Certification.

Ryan and his wife live in Johnson City and have been married since 2013.
