Raymond McBride was great as we met with him about our vision and our building. He helped us decide on the site and then our overall concept of what was needed for the business and location. Mike Cannon stepped in as the architect and worked with me to design a veterinary hospital that fit our lot, location, and the commercial neighborhood. The entire team that Raymond put together for us was truly amazing. Listening to our ideas and needs they created an outstanding building design.
 
Construction was overseen by Scotty Lane and he was excellent in coordinating all of the subcontractors. Raymond made sure the construction materials were available and accessible as needed. Mike ensured all was moving forward as scheduled. It was very impressive how quickly our building came together and was completed. The workmanship of all the contractors was wonderful and Scotty gets all the credit for being the quality control supervisor. If it wasn’t up to standard Scotty found it and made sure it was corrected.
 
The Mitch Cox Construction team were first class and created a seamless experience and an outstanding building for our veterinary hospital.

Knob Creek Oral Clinic

If you should ask me what I think of Mitch Cox Companies, I would have to say that they are dream makers. I had a dream of starting an Oral Surgical clinic and Mitch Cox Companies made it a reality. My first contact was with John Speropulos who organized the perfect team to make my dream a reality. Then, Mr. Michael Cannon, the architect moved my dream from my head to drawings. It was like he was reading my mind. Then, Mr. Raymond McBride took those drawings and with his fantastic team of highly skilled builders, coordinated by Mr. Scottie Lane, made those drawings into a physical reality. That physical reality is so much more than my mind could conceive and certainly more than the original dream. In short, Mitch Cox Companies are the “founding fathers” of my emerging small business. Jonesborough Eye Clinic

Our favorite part of the new space would be the layout, how it has increased our efficiency, and the ability to present the “look” to our patients that mirrors the excellent quality of care we provide. After moving to the area from Florida and seeing a for-lease sign, I called John Speropulos, who, with his experience and knowledge of the area, found us an excellent property suited to our needs. I met Jan Meade as I walked into a meeting with him. She was very kind and professional. He introduced me to Raymond McBride who fairly put together an exceptional bid and contract package for the construction and recommended superb and hard-working subcontractors and local vendors. John also introduced me to Mike Cannon who designed our building utilizing the space most efficiently for our operations. Holston United Methodist Home for Children, Inc.

Holston Home for Children has enjoyed our working relationship with you and your construction team over the past year in the construction of our new residence for youth – The House of Hope. This is the first residence in a major rebuilding of our main campus in Greenville, TN. The residence encompassed 9,914 square feet. Your project team accurately projected the costs for this project, and it was completed on time. There was no delay in shifting between the various stages of construction; sub-contractors were managed well and were obviously chosen due to a long and successful working relationship with your organization. Raymond McBride provided excellent oversight of the project from beginning to end; he was always available to me for the myriad of details throughout the project. Raymond also was conscientious about the value engineering aspects – assisting us in managing the total costs. Your site superintendent did an excellent job relating with our youth and staff and being conscientious of about the safety aspects that were required as the building proceeded in the midst of our ongoing service to children and youth.
 
Everyone who has seen this building has been complimentary of its beauty and quality craftsmanship. It is a facility that our Conference can take great pride in.

TriSummit Bank

Recently, Mitch Cox Construction performed renovations to existing space we are renting. This work entailed removing a wall, constructing walls from additional office space and all of the finishing work involved with such a project.
 
The crew that was assigned to our project was part of the Mitch Cox Construction team. They were professional, hard working and very aware of the fact that we were still open for business during the construction. At the end of each day, someone from the crew “cleaned up” the common areas, including areas that were affected by the construction dust.

Mitch Cox Construction was selected as our contractor for the project. I think that I should say that they joined the “Cherokee Team” and approached the project with a “We Can Do It” attitude for which Cherokee will always be grateful. They understood our limited budget and helped “value engineer” more than $200,000 in savings for the project. The suggested savings included changing the specifications of flooring and other surface finishes as well as purchasing some appropriate used steel, light fixtures, etc. which were available from other area remodeling jobs.

OSIsoft, LLC

Because of past association and their reputation for quality, Mitch Cox Companies was chosen by OSIsoft, LLC. Mitch Cox Companies handled everything from the property search phase to the final build out project of our 13,000 square foot office space. Our search for a new location began in May of 2011; Mitch Cox Real Estate showed us many properties where they thought we would be in a productive and expandable space. After finding the suitable property and working through common delays, not the fault of Mitch Cox, we were able to begin construction of the new space by April 2012. Knowing we had very tight timeline for completion by the end of July 2012. Working with Mitch Cox’s project manager, Raymond McBride, and his team were instrumental in keeping the project on task, on time and on budget.
