How Labor Finders Works

Companies in need of temporary labor call in the day of or day before with a description of the job needed such as carpentry, general labor, painting, cleanup, skilled and unskilled labor. Labor Finders maintains a database of individuals ready for work. While it is free to be listed, there is an hour-and-a-half safety procedure and drug and background tests, performed upon request. Then, Labor Finders covers the worker’s comp, applicable taxes, and insurance for the staffing it provides. The employer gives the workers jobs and after two hours, if the superintendents find that the work is inadequate or unsatisfactory, then Labor Finders finds the next available worker, at no cost to the employer.

Erin Napier, branch manager of Labor Finders in Johnson City, has been with the company since its opening in 2004. She said, “Mitch Cox Construction has been very easy to work with. They provide good work and steady jobs for many of the blue collar workers that come through our doors.”
