    Teresa is a licensed broker in the state of Tennessee and a licensed salesperson in the state of Florida. A native of East Tennessee, Teresa has more than twenty-two years experience in new construction, real estate, and mortgage lending. Specializing in on-site residential home sales, she began selling real estate in Florida in 1989, and has been representing Mitch Cox’s residential communities in Johnson City and Jonesborough since 1999.

    In West Palm Beach, Florida, Teresa received the Palm Award her first year in real estate for selling 3.3 million in residential real estate. She also received the Silver Circle Award from the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors in 2000, and has received the RE/MAX Executive Club Award each year since joining RE/MAX Checkmate, Inc., REALTORS in 2007. Teresa has consistently received the sales achievement award for multi-million dollars sales each year working in the real estate profession.

    Teresa has been blessed in her life, and enjoys the opportunity to help others. She has been a member of the United Emmaus Community since 2000, and enjoys serving to assist in several areas within the Emmaus Community. She has also volunteered at Safe Passage (for battered women) and Agape Women’s Services. Teresa is a member of First Christian Church and the Bridgebuilder’s Sunday School class.

    Teresa is currently is a member of the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, as well as the Women’s Council of Realtors.

    Teresa resides in Hunter’s Lake, Johnson City with her husband, Gordon. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary for the Hunter’s Lake Community Association. Teresa has served as a past board member and Secretary for the Coalition for Kids; a past committee member for New Membership and Public Relations for the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors; and past Rotarian. She enjoys traveling, decorating, cards, and spending time with their four children and eleven grandchildren.
