Mitch Cox Companies (MCC) and company affiliate, Universal Storage Solutions (USS), are pleased to announce the development of a new storage facility in Bristol, Tennessee. The facility will offer both climate controlled and traditional storage in a variety of sizes as well as outside lot storage for RV’s, boats and trailers. The facility will have 24/7 access and leasing through a self-service kiosk and will utilize the latest in video surveillance monitoring and perimeter security. This newest location will be the 4th USS location in the Tri-Cities and joins the existing self-storage locations in the Boones Creek area of Johnson City and Elizabethton as well as the commercial warehousing facility in Johnson City.
This new facility will have similar designs to those at the Boones Creek location shown above.
The new site is located near the vacant K-Mart building on W. State Street and the junction of Highway 126. Site preparation and grading have already begun, and new storage units are expected to be available in the spring of 2020. The site is adjacent to Stafford Street where Stafford Street Village, a 137-unit townhome and apartment community, is also currently under development. Both projects are being co-developed with Universal Development & Construction (UDC).
